nikon travelite V lens caps (1 Viewer)

these lens caps are designed to cover the eye pieces, but I doubt eyepieces needs protection as they are small and wraped by rubber eyecups. object lens are the ones who need cover.

recently i found that they are exactly the same size to cover the object lens, and pretty tight, don't know Nikon designed it this way or it's just a coinsidence. see the photo attached, so now I can carry travelite v without the case. once again, I do recomend travelite V, though they have narrow FOV of 5.6 degree for 8x25, they are handy, how handy? very.
