Can any one confirm the iI.D.please I think its a female Redpoll but am not a 100% convinced

The beak shape looks wrong for a finch- more accentor-ish to me.

Yep, thats a Dunnock I believe.

Yes, this has made me go for my books - where and when was it taken?

Dunnock has that face pattern, but I've never seen one as contrasty as that, before

Well as there's not much else it could be I think it's a Dunnock with very pale grey areas

So I was completley wrong with my I.D.!!
It just appeared to be totally the wrong colouring for a Dunnock.

Here's an illustration of a dunnock (hedge accentor) from another site, looks the same to me.
