Brown or Turkestan Shrike? (1 Viewer)

Himalaya

Well-known member
Taken in Bhambor, Sindh near Karachi. Does not match Isabelline in my eyes - colour too brown, white supercilium. Looks like a Brown Shrike - underbody pattern, deep buff chest, white supercilium and brownish upper parts but bill not so heavy?

Thanks in advance!!!

Looks like a good read that. One reason why it I assume it is a first is because of the lack of birders and must be misidentified at times.

One more Shrike - I assume it is Steppe Grey Shrike - taken in Thatta, Sindh?
