Unknown gull - Bahrain (1 Viewer)

No need to be ashamed folks. Not a Slender-billed of course, but the other two or should I say - three are rather similar in certain plumages and shape, give and take some more obvious differences when seen together. The underwing pattern in the first image, could of course only belong to - either Slender-billed or Black-headed.
And Black-headed it is.

Thanks to Adrian and Howard for a swift revisit and obtaining such good images (as usual), which really shouldn´t have been necessarily for a positive ID, but then again - there´s gulls in certain plumage stages for you, and location.
