fuji film finepix s1800 (1 Viewer)

Hello To all and happy new year!

I have a question for those of you who know alot about digiscoping. I have a fujifilm finepix s1800 and I love it! On a tripod I can get good pictures by zooming the camera. But for those hard to get close to birds, I have decided to invest in a scope with an adapter.
I also use my fuji for filming, so i would love for it to be my only all around camera without having to spend alot on a dslr.

Thanks
TQ

Try to hand hold your Fuji near the eyepiece of your scope when you get it. See the level of vignetting starting from wide to telephoto. It would give you idea if your camera is suitable for digiscoping or not :king:

Recommended camera for Digiscoping is 3x optical zoom. More than that, you need Long Eye Relief eyepiece to compensate the vignetting ;)
