1.4 TC error message (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

My Nikon D7100 has started reporting "FEE" on the LCD panel when I put my 1.4 TC II in between the body and my 300mm f4 af-s lens (there is no problem when using the body and lens without the TC).

Any thoughts on why this might have happened and what I can do other than take it for servicing?

What a curious URL in that link; ...Dear Sir or Madam,SLR..

Just clean all the contacts and those inside the camera.

Thanks for both responses,

I cleaned the contacts yesterday without success, but a more through cleaning just now has got it working successfully.

Check all the screws on the teleconverter as they can come loose.
