Shorebird ID help - Northern Middle Tennessee, USA (1 Viewer)

Both birds were found at Cross Creeks NWA. The first bird seemed just a little smaller than the nearby killdeer. My guess is Pectoral Sandpiper? The second bird seemed about the same size as the killdeer. My guess is American Golden Plover.

Can anyone help confirm ids or offer another id?

Thanks much!
