E500 cable release? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking of buying a remote release to use with an Olympus E500. I know I can get a wireless type, both Olympus and third party manufacturers, but the sensor is on the front of the camera so the trigger has to be used from in front of the camera.

Does anybody know if I can buy a cable release for use with this camera and therefore stay behind it?

Depending on light levels etc with some cameras you can bounce the IR signal off a piece of card taped to the lens. Worth a try - but you will need to be close.
