Swift and Safetgard (1 Viewer)

Is it true what I'm reading about the quality of the Swift brand and their lack of CS now that Safetgard has purchased them?

Anyone with experience? The Swift 8.5x44mm BWCF Audubon looks good but if there really is no CS backing it up, I'll look elsewhere.

Here is some BBB information. The address and map seems to correspond with Swift Optics.

More information here. Read the one very unfavorable review.

New owner said she bought Swift out of Bankruptcy 6 years ago and is not obligated to honor warranties.

You have to scroll through this to the bottom to get the registration information into Safetgard.

Run Away! Fly Away! :flyaway:

What a depressing end to a once great name. :-C

With an attitude like that, she deserves to lose customers left and right.:storm:

Swift won't get my business now for sure.:gn:

OK I think I've run out of smilies for this point. :-O

Humphrey H Swift has likely rolled over in his grave so many times, all that remains is dust. Depressing to say the least.

From the website, there seems no outward indication of change.
