Fulmar?, North Berwick, Scotland (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the pretty bad photos.

I saw this bird on May 1, 2014 in North Berwick, East coast of Scotland.

Could it be a Fulmar? It seemed to me to be definitely smaller than a Herring gull.

Plus, a likely location. I am going on a bass rock cruise from North Berwick on Friday. Will keep an eye out :)

Good luck! I had a trip booked but it was cancelled due to sea condition. Though I just walked along the coast and saw the birds I wanted - Gannets, Razorbills.
