8X32 / 8x30 Clearinghouse Thread (1 Viewer)

Some more observations regarding the Oregon: I think light transmission of the Oregon is perhaps average for the price point. It certainly presents a darker view than the Vixen New Foresta HR 8x32 WP which has stellar light transmission for its price point (as tested on allbinos and from what I observe).

Overall, I still rate the optics of the Oregon as very good for the price.

One other thing I noticed: The very short barrels of the Oregon don't dampen vibration as much as longer barrels.

Disclaimer: I have a Vixen for sale in the classifieds.
