This was a trip we had arranged earlier and had had to postpone more than once thanks to Covid. Now the time had come to visit Northern India - I had always wanted to visit Kashmir. Would it live up to my dream? Would I return with a hand-woven shawl? And what about the birds, the scenery, the yeti????
