Hi all, does anyone know who manufactures the binoculars marketed in the UK as, "Avian Optics"?
I have seen them being sold by Ace Optics of Bath, just wondered if they are a generic Chinese glass that is marketed with various retailers "own brand" or a standalone brand.

They are / were a branded range exclusive to Ace Optics, going since the 80s at least. Most likely manufactured in China as you suggest.

I think there is a degree of variability across the range, e.g. Avian's top model is likely produced for other manufacturers.
