hello Birders,
The red breasted Fly, is a Compact little bird it wiil undertake aerial sorties as it did in our Apple tree, Its usually encounted in first winter plumage.
All birds can be recognised, by the diagonstic striking white sides, some 70,to 100 individuals, may be recorded in a good year, almost all seen in the autumn
Anyway, a Visit to the farm gate, 5.10pm 2 rails calling a Heron on the scrape attacking the Black heads. A cream Crown Dived into the reeds,
A worthwhile trip,
Whitford has been busy, 4 feild Fares calling well, the Migration turn around
is on the way, we cant wait.
