Hi, just continuing to clean up old photos and seek assistance where I can not convince myself:) This set of photos show I think a Baird's Sandpiper. My conclusion is based on its "squashed" or oval structure and colouring. I unfortunately cannot discern its toe structure.
Photos were taken at Oak Hammock Marsh, just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on July 29, 2023.
All comments and criticism gratefully accepted and most welcomed.
Since I am hoping that they all show a Baird's sandpiper I did not change the file names. If even in that case it is helpful to those who are looking at the photos please let me know.
Thank you in advance,
steve
