While hiking around Lake Allatoona with my dog I was lucky to have a large owl swoop down into a tree 40yds away.I pulled my new binos up and got a great view of it. The owl had what appeared to be a dead chipmunk in its talons. I see these Barred owls quite frequently around here. This sighting was about 11am today.I caught the view thru my 10x binos, usually I carry 8x but the 10x is growing on me fast.10x42 Bushnell Elite ED, about as good a bino I have tried !!
