Hello, I am living with a colony of bats ,possibly the most inner city and spring till the end of summer they live with us, however the council has said they are reclading our part of the building in preparation for new windows, which will definitely stop the roost, what to do?.

If they hibernate there, they may be entitled to protection.
Otherwise, I'd think the Council has a clear hand, but they might be willing to make some provision to allow the bats to keep their roost.
There are bat houses offered commercially, but presumably the RSPCA or some similar body has more economical suggestions for making a building bat friendly.
