Visiting Big Bend NP next week for the first time. Any suggestions for “be sure not to miss” areas?

Colima Warbler should have returned by now: Big Bend is the only place in the USA with a breeding population of this otherwise Mexican species, which can be found along the Pinnacles Trail and Boot Canyon trails. Just plan start early, plan for a bit of a hike, and bring lots of water.

Thanks, Mysticete - Did the hike, but no luck. Not sure if they just aren’t there yet, or just unlucky. What a lovely area to bird in. Painted Bunting always a treat.
