Heya! I went birding at my local park today around sunrise and caught a bird high up in the trees. Tried to get an eye level view of the back profile but this was unfortunately the best shot since there were many obstructions. Merlin ID claims it to be a Collared Kingfisher but I'd love a bit more confirmation on it. It looks a bit off to me, but I'm also an amateur so I might be wrong on this one!
I'd love some help identifying it, and apologise for the poor angle! I've done my best to edit it already, and sharpened it up with Topaz so I hope the detail helps a bit! Thanks so much for anyone helping in advance :>
