Hi all, I’m new to the group.
I’ve always had an interest in birds but I have a bird or birds visiting my garden that I can’t identify. I’ve picked their calling up on my ring camera but i haven’t clapped eyes on them yet.
Is there anyone on the group that ma be able to identify them for me from the attachments.
Many thanks.

Can't help you from this side of the pond but Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like. ;)

Hi Mark and a warm welcome from me too.

Sorry, I can't recognise this call... it sounds like it was recorded in a rain forest LOL! It would really help if you could let us know where and when you recorded it and what the habitat was like.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hello,
welcome to birdforum from me, too!

Your recordings reminded me of a similar thread before: Morning birdsong in Sheffield - what is it?

With the assumption in mind, that your recordings were made in the UK, this came into my mind:
  • first is similar to a Blackbird or a Nightingale, but with a strange shift, resulting in the jungle-jizz described by Delia
  • second a strange mixture of a Trush in the beginning and a Great Tit at the end
So I think these or this must surely be an escaped cagebird. Like you, I hope someone can help. Thanks!

Hi, can’t help with the ID. Just wanted to say welcome to the forum.
