Birding in Southern Thailand (1 Viewer)

Has anyone gone birding in Southern Thailand, particularly Sri Phang Nga and Khao Sok National Parks, in late November and recommend it? We plan on spending time in Khao Lak and Khao Sok. I'm seeing online that there aren't many birds there during that time but I'm wondering if they're just talking about migratory birds. We've never been to Thailand so every bird will be new and amazing to us! We would love to see any type of pitta or hornbill.

Also if anyone has any bird guides they recommend, that would be great!
