Sinclair and Ryan 'Birds of Africa, south of the Sahara' covers, as it says, all of Africa, which will be perfect for the area you're going to - plus giving you a good excuse to go to another part of Africa next year. :t: :t: :t:

Also the Princeton Birds of Southern Africa by Sinclair, Hockney & Tarboton. This is what I used for my trip in '07 that included to camps in the Okavango: Camp Okavango & Camp Moremi. However it doesn't include Zambia. Sasol Birds of Southern Africa is the European version.

There is also an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad app of the Sasol version for $29.99. It appears to be available for Blackberry & Android too. I plan to get it before our next trip to Africa, but will have to find something to cover Zambia like Birds of Africa South of the Sahara by Sinclair & Ryan already mentioned, but it's big at 768 pages.
