Butterflies from Poland - for confirmation (1 Viewer)

These two were from north-east Poland last week.

The first is likely to be Large Tortoiseshell but I'm not sure that Yellow-legged can be ruled out, at this location.

The second is a female Sooty Copper I think.

Any comments welcome.

I would say YL Tortoiseshell because of white apical spot + fairly broad marginal borders. Agree with Sooty Copper.
