Any ideas what species this is? common around the Longji rice terraces area in Guangxi

I think some kind of fritillary?

It's definitly a large fritillary (genus Argynnis). I can only see the thumbnail for some reason, but I think that it is either Argynnis childreni or Argynnis zenobia. Both species are sometimes put in the genus Childrena.

Yeah, you are right :t: The wing shape is totally wrong for childreni. Although I'd classify hyperbius in Argynnis as wello:)
