The bird looks more like a Cirl Bunting to me. Pic 1 shows a striped head-side typical of a CB and these birds are found in Ukraine.

Yellowhammer for me. Rusty rump, broad white edges to tail feathers and extreme rarity of cirl bunting even in south west Ukraine.
