Dove/pigeon, Haiti lowlands, last week (1 Viewer)

Last week in lowland field habitat outside of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I caught a glimpse of a flying dove/pigeon that I would appreciate help in identifying.

It was a small to medium dove-shaped bird, largely light grey or light brown in color on its back, with a distinct white outer edge to its tail (not the tip, but the sides of the tail). I assumed that white would be a reasonable field mark to narrow the list, but I don't have a field guide for that part of the world. No other field marks observed. An Inca Dove might be a match, but I don't know whether Haiti is in its range or not.

Any help appreciated,
