Hiya
I almost feel like an intruder in this thread since I am from abroad but I still try
Next week I will be heading for Seahouses where I will stay for a week. I have visited the area before and meanwhile also bought a book about the Northeast Coast and birding.
However.... browsing through the threads I come across a lot of areas that are visited often obviously and I have some questions if I may
1
I think Low Barns is interesting, but I think it will close soon during the weekdays. Is it still worthwile to go there?
2.
Hetton Bogs seems interesting and I read that there is a hide as well. Could anybody tell me please where I can find the hide?
3.
Cowpen Bewley was mentioned in the thread a few times. Interesting enough this season?
I would love to see Kingfisher, Dippers etc. Preferably from a hide. Are there any other interesting sites that are easy to explain to me? I am still reading the book ofcourse, but I would highly appreciate your help and suggestions as well.
Does anyone use a foldable hide to wait for birds and mammals?
Thanks very much and keep birding
