Hi can someone help with this one was thinking a primrose, (Scottish or birds eye) but think it is too early so I am confused, it was found in a woodland near loch Lomond end of march. possibly not the best photo??

Looks like a Primula denticulata to me.

ok thanks Dave that will explain why I have no idea what it was then (not much of a gardener either haha) typical, not sure how it was were it was but at least now I know why I was unable to work out what it actually was.

Got quite a few of these in garden and find they revert back to white the next year, but still nice
