I know there are some folks here good with gulls, which in California can be a complicated thing (or so I've been told), so...a little help?

If I had to guess, #1, #2, and #4 are the same species, at minimum?

In which case that means the Heerman's is "new" to my collection. Yay! :t:

Fairly sure I've photographed the Western (and commonly see/photograph Ring-Billed), but while I may have seen Heerman's (I've lived my whole life around gulls, just never paid attention until I took up animal photography as a serious hobby) I've never photographed one before.
