This is coastal northwest Oregon. The gull in front is larger, with a darker mantle, and longer bill than the gull in back, which is a familiar Short-billed Gull (formerly called Mew Gull in North America). Is the mantle dark enough and the bill long enough for the kamchatka form of Common Gull? March 2024

Any photos showing the spread wing? Based on structure compared to the bird behind, I'd lean more towards it being another Short-billed Gull, but the spread wing pattern could be invaluable.

No such photos. Without a clear photo of P8 this remains a Short-billed "Mew" Gull, though it is larger, darker, and has a longer bill. Thank you!
