Hawke Frontier ED X eye relief, 10x42 vs 8x42 (1 Viewer)

Hi all. First post from a total newbie. I have a pair of Hawke Frontier ED X 10x42 binos which I’m struggling with a little bit. I’m finding positioning them is tricky and I have a feeling that the eye relief might be a bit short for me as I wear spectacles. Apart from this I love them. Would the 8x42 version suit me more with its longer ER?
Thanks
