Hi, I just like birds.
Been spotting of sorts - I'm no expert - most of my life.
We have quite a wide variety of birds in our messy garden and nearby. I'm particularly protective of our tree sparrow population, as any mother would be!
I also love to go to the Scottish Islands and Northumberland coast with my bins and scope.
Always ready to learn more and hoping now both kids have flown the nest to get out watching a bit more.
Can't promise to be here every day but will enjoy dipping in when I can.

Hi Erica and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. All things Scottish can be found here. Also, keep an eye on threads titled something like Scottish Bashes; we try to meet up occasionally and they're always great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us on another if you can manage.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Welcome to Birdforum. I hope your visits to the forum relieve your stress!
