Hello, I am new to the forum, I am Selina and I live in North Alabama. I was just wondering if anyone else had large numbers of hummingbirds? I go through 12 cups of sugar water every day.

Hi there Selina and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like. ;)
BTW: I'm from Myrtle Beach SC :)

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I’ve never had that many but my brother in Tennessee has had a lot this year, he has been filling his feeders at least 3x a day.

Hi Selina, lots of Hummers here in Northern California. I like to put my garden hose nozzle on shower, and they come take in-flight drinks and baths in the stream while watering the garden.

Hi Selina and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

That has to be amazing to watch. These little birds have just stole my heart. I refer to them as my babies.

This is my third year with so many and I cannot figure out why they love it here so much. There are others around me with feeders but they tend to have only 3 or 4 birds.
