Hello, I love watching the birds in my garden at home and from my caravan in Scotland. Pictures are from my bird box with camera at home. 11 eggs, 10 hatched and fledged. It was a privilege to watch.
I’m here for help with a nest at my caravan so will find the correct area to ask the question. Looking forward to seeing all the photos and reading about them

Hi Elless and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. When you're visiting your caravan, all things Scottish can be found here. Also, keep an eye on threads titled something like Scottish Bashes; we try to meet up occasionally and they're always great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us on another if you can manage.

Where is your caravan?

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

My caravan is near Dunbar, East Lothian. It’s right on the beach. In past years, watching the Gannets diving right in front of my caravan has been an amazing sight. This year and last there have been only a few. I assume it’s the result of bird flu? I will have a look for all things Scottish. I have posted a question in the help section. I hope that’s the right place?

Hi Elless and welcome to BirdForum. Your caravan location sounds amazing.

I am so lucky. Apart from the gannets, I can occasionally watch seals, dolphins, minke and pilot whales from my sofa.
At home my garden backs on to the River Stow, with a nature reserve beyond. I can watch the kingfisher fishing from my lounge and kitchen windows. I feel blessed😊
