How practical are the alpha 10X50s for general birding? (1 Viewer)

Received the Bino Manager today and yes it fits :) Now to sanity check things in the field although initial impressions are quite favorable. I like the design a whole lot more that traditional harness set ups.

Glad to hear it fits ok.
Do note that you can also use the chest strap as suspenders, just clip them around your belt in the back. The binocs are carried by the shoulder straps and can then be swung up or moved even more freely. Downside is you lose the protective cover and the binocs jostle around if you are riding, so it's only for birding walks.
