How's Your 2023 List Going? (3 Viewers)

Two ticks from the couple of days I got out this week. Curlew Sandpiper is again new for my Spain list and it's also the first time I've seen one in breeding plumage, which was nice.

Just got back from a week in Ghana, where I saw 229 species, of which 227 were new for the year (including two species in transit) and 122 were lifers (in bold). I went with Kwame Brown, owner and operator of Adventure Birding Tours. Kwame arranged a private trip covering all of the major sites in southern Ghana and arranged all of the transportation, lodging, etc. Kwame knows his birds and where to find them, and his rates are very reasonable, so I would highly recommend contacting him, especially if this is your first trip to this area.
