Is it possible to confirm the identity of this raptor seen today in Crete, please? The photos are not mine, but taken by a friend on holiday. We're tending towards Western Marsh Harrier, but the uniform plumage and lack of visible pale head is bothering me. Could it be Black Kite, although the tail looks quite long for that species perhaps? Thanks!
