KOWA 883 digi scope: zoom question (1 Viewer)

Hello!

First post, and I have a newbie question.

I'm looking at buying a Kowa 883 and had a question on it's operation when digiscoping.

Question: when you attach the phone to the Scope's eyepiece, can you adjust the eyepiece's zoom ring without the cell phone turning? Or does the whole eyepiece move with the zoom?

The phone adapter connects to the eyecup which doesn't rotate when you zoom.
