Did not hear a call, though it was flying decently high and I was on a call at the time so I had earphones in. I'm aware of their pretty loud honk of a call, we went on a short trip to Norfolk during January- we had about mix flock of 100-200 whoopers and mutes closely bundled together on some fields in northern Cambridgeshire. The sound was overbearing at one point- will never forget that particular call.
