Hello all,
I am currently working with a natural history production company in Bristol and we are very interested in filming storks nesting on old wooden churches or other traditional buildings for our latest film. I always think birders are a great source of knowledge for shoot locations so I hope you dont mind me asking for advice
I was wondering if anyone on a recent trip to Romania has seen any large, old stork nests in a traditional environment. These nests can grow to quite a large size if undisturbed and I have heard reports that large nests can harbour sparrow and starling nests, this is exactly what we are looking to shoot, ancient nest sites that are in harmony with the traditional location and also supporting other life.
If anyone had a tip off for the above, or knows any good bird guides in Romania, I would be very grateful.
Best,
Niall
