Hi all,
What is sweeter then escaping the everyday routine to have a short trip of birdwatching? My friend Ivailo and I decided to show our new friend Nick (from Netherlands) the beauty of our still mostly unspoiled nature. Though short (11-14.07.2004) the journey to be more successful than I expected. The logistics of our itinerary were visiting some Ramsar wetlands and protected areas along the northern Black Sea coast and making a returning trip by passing along Dunabe (Sreburna Reserve) and a couple of fishponds. The species comprised of 117 species!!!

That's an amazing amount of species you racked up there! Sounds like an amazing trip you guys took. Some day I'll have to make my way over there.
I can truly relate to the birding while driving dilemna. Given the wife a couple good scares, hehe.
