November Moths (1 Viewer)

A very disappointing result from 2 traps this morning after a fairly mild night, with just 2 moths, neither actually in the traps. One had a Diurnea lipsiella on the cover & the other had a smart Feathered Thorn on a seat next to the trap.

Several Plumes (Emmelina monodactyla) feeding on michaelmas daisies of a night. Sunday night's trap brough a London Dowd (Blasobasis lacticolella) and a Brindled Flat-body (Agonopterix arenella) plus an Epirrita I initially confused for Operophtera (see id thread). Put trap out again in a different spot last night, not expecting much...

After a week of nowt!…a positive Bonanza last night, culminating in- 3 December Moths, Oak Scallop on the wall/furniture, Red-green Carpet on the pot and a Feathered Thorn in the trap rim.😮

Nothing from last night or last week's trap, but a LBAM on the bathroom window this morning.

Nothing from attempts at sugaring, but weather has been less than ideal.
