One final bird from Ceara, Brazil (1 Viewer)

Hi all

One final bird from Brazil that I am slightly stuck with.

It was in some dense trees above my head so I was only really able to view it from underneath, but I noted a very yellow belly with thin black streaks on the breast - much like a Yellowhammer although the streaking did not extend down the flanks. It was very small (Sparrow-sized or less) with a very short, stubby tail. There seemed to be a few of them in the trees, in a Botanical Garden in Ceara, and if the other birds were the same as this then the call was high pitched, short and regular.

The only physical match I've been able to come up with is a Stripe-necked Tody-Tyrant but this is listed as uncommon; I can't find any other yellow-bellied Tyrants/Flycatchers with the black streaking on the breast.

Edit: 2. Also, I saw a dull-looking, light grey-bellied Hummingbird sp. in Rio Grande do Norte - any ideas what that could be?

3. Finally, I also heard what sounded like the Cuckoo sound of a Common Cuckoo in Ceara, but I was under the impression that the local Cuckoo species out here don't make those sounds - any ideas again?

Many thanks.

(The hummingbird description fits the vast majority of all the hummingbirds I've ever seen... Dull, grey...)

Edit: but if present, check female woodnymph (not sure which woodnymph might be there without looking)
