Around 10 mins ago I spotted 2 very large birds of prey, far too large to be buzzards, after a second glance they seemed to be eagles, and I am 99% sure they are Golden eagles. They flew east following the river towards pulborugh brooks, and then I also spotted a white stalk, probably from Knepp
Has anyone else seen the pair of eagles?

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. You might want to ask this in the county forum for Pulborough. You can find it here:

Welcome to Birdforum. I hope you enjoy your visits.

It is highly unlikely there are Golden Eagles in that area. White tailed eagles were seen earlier this year.

The White-tails are still in the area, one of my friends failed to avoid one on a visit a week ago. That's the most likely result. You are not going to see a pair of Golden Eagles in England.

John
