Pic1&2 are not good enough for positive ID but confirm it's a falcon??

Pic 3 is a Goshawk?

Pic 4&5 is a Juv Black Sparrowhawk??

are you sure pic 1 is the same bird as in pics 2-3?
1 looks a bit like the silhouette of a sooty f., 2-3 look good for vespertinus/amurensis (1st winter).


Same bird Lou!! Admittedly, Amurs are everywhere here at the moment.

(But seriously now..... No one can deny that actually these are a Sooty Falcon. Just look at the photos. 1. Definitely a Falcon. 2. Very Sooty)

Sooty aspect is not enough, this is Amur Falcon, from shape and pattern (on 2nd photo). But on those photos, the Amur Falcon is a sooty falcon (without capital letters).
