Sand hopper ? (1 Viewer)

I moved from the Cotswolds to South Wales a few years ago and have seen a species in my garden that I never saw previously. When I move something in the garden and expose the damp soil beneath, I see lots of Sandhopper/ Gammarus type creatures hopping about, any idea what these are ?
