Small bird with distinctive call, Andes, Venezuela (1 Viewer)

I was on the Humbolt Trail, in the Andes last month (around mid-August). It's forested, and around 2500m elevation. I was watching a hummingbird and noticed this small bird sitting right in front of me, watching the hummingbird too! It's quite an ordinary looking bird, but luckily it sang while I was filming. Here's a link to the film on youtube.

It calls from 10 seconds onwards, but it's worth watching the whole clip to see it "spooked" by the hummingbird flying around its head, out of shot unfortunately, but you can clearly hear it.
I've tried to ID it but don't really know where to start. I didn't see the bird again but heard it in the forest on many occasions, so presumably it's a fairly common species. Can anyone help with ID please?
Here's a still from the video:

Great! That's the one, thanks.

It's behaviour even confirms it (according to S Hilty): Tail flicks up, found in mossy forest under-story and thick shadowy undergrowth.
