Sociable Plovers in Gujarat? (1 Viewer)

Going for Gold
Hi there,
Would anyone know whom I could contact who may know of any reliable Sociable Plover sites in Gujarat, India? A big ask, probably, ( I know it's endangered ) but we're travelling here at the end of Jan and it's a most-desired bird. We're staying at the CEDO Lodge for three nights, and I understand this area can be particularly good. Obviously I'll ask the local guides and I've contacted CEDO already.
Perhaps the ever resourceful BF could help?

Many thanks

Russ

Jugal or Veer from Cedo are top guides and they will know if any Sociable Plovers are around. Their number fluctuate each year according to the rains in the area. If there has been a good monsoon you have good chances, if it has been dry they will be somewhere else.
