Hi all, I'm having a real good clear out of my garden bird photos and I came across this one taken in January this year, the head colouring and the time of year have thrown me a bit, I've saved it as Blackbird youngster? Seems early in the year for that?
Many thanks in advance

Can't pretend to look that closely at Blackbirds very often, but I'd tend to call that a female Blackbird, somewhat more adult than juvenile (as suggested above). A first-winter male would still be black by January.

Lovely shot, btw.
