Hi,

A friend has two Andalucian caterpillars (both feeding on Lygos monosperma) that, despite plenty of internet searching, he can't identify. Photos attached.

Any thoughts?

The first is the larva of Apopestes spectrum (Esper, 1787) (Noctuidae).

I think #2 is a crambine pyralid, Uresiphita gilvata (Fabricius, 1794).
